Master Smacker is the latest development of its notorious predecessor. The power transmission takes place via a smooth-running prop system. The spur gear is completely encased in a hard plastic covering that protects the drivetrain from unwanted impacts. The upper chassis plate with a green anodised design gives the entire chassis the required torsional strength.
It's simply even better suited than its predecessor for rough, rocky off-road terrains. The front and rear axle are each equipped with a smooth running differential gear. Both differentials are designed as high quality bevel differentials. The actual drivetrain is positioned exactly in the centre of the chassis. The entire chassis layout is set up in such a way that the chassis balance around the diagonal and longitudinal axis is completely neutral. The model uses both stick batteries and saddle packs. An unbelievably flat, aerodynamic design allows for driving situations previously considered to lie beyond the limits of physics. A sandwich chassis gives it its lightweight characteristics and superior rigidity. The front suspension is already broken having hit the corner of a wall (I've just ordered a set of new ones). Just unlucky as this is a really well built, sturdy, fast, precision piece of kit. Tha handling is excellent and very precise. Fun is maximum. It is also a great starting base for RC cars. Set ups can be midified and I will get to change my first front suspension in a few days. Highly recommended. |
